Viaje al terremoto, conclusión/ Trip to the earthquake, conclusion
Despite the overwhelming violence of the earthquake, magnitude 8.8 at the epicenter, the loss of homes in cities and rural villages, the tsunami disaster that devastated the coast of several cities and small coves washing out houses and business, destroying fishing boats, livelihood source of many families, it's awesome so far not count more than 500 deaths. But the general spirit in this and other routes a traveled in the rural world is to stand up as soon as possible, o you can see in these towns how, with ladder and tools in their hands, reconstruct begins.

Again, to lighten the images of the earthquake a little more of color.
A marine tractor, to call it in some way, used to pull to the beach the fishing boats.
At some point we will all have dreamed of this image, walking easily to the beach with a surfboard under the arm.
Viaje al terremoto, gente/ Trip to the earthquake, people
Now, a bit more quiet, I will complete the images of my trip to other area affected by the earthquake and tsunami.
A child playing on the beach amid the rubble washed away by the sea, his underwear stained with the black sand in this area.
This street seller offers his treats, his house in Pichilemu was not affected by the earthquake or tsunami.
A salt worker on the side of the road, at Cahuil, offers the rest of his goods, although his house was not affected the salt evaporation ponds, at his back, were flood by the sea. Harvesting season would have lasted until May but now they must wait until next year began work.

Viaje al terremoto, día 3/ Trip to the earthquake, day 3
The last day of this trip and the return is for a rural area where there are buildings that are damaged and others don't.
The village church of Alcones has cracks in the facade and damage to the tiles but I was told no major damage to the inside.
This church in Marchigüe has no damage but is not an original old building. At this time they celebrated Easter Mass.
House in Pichidegua, they have removed the doors and windows to recycle, with the Chilean flag flying at the top, but its facade has painted the terrible word: Demolish.
