También hoy me entregaron esta pequeña tetera hecha con la misma base de las lámparas de aceite. They also gave me this small tea pot made with the same base of the oil lamps.

Y finalmente recibí este plato que lleva tres esmaltes, negro por fuera y sobre el borde, y turqueza sobre un café dorado que he usado antes.
And finally I got this plate with three glazes, black on the outside and on the edge, and turquoise over a golden brown which I have used before.

Finalmente estoy logrando terminar algunas piezas. Hoy salieron del horno las lámparas de aceite, las primeras dos son blancas.

Finally I managed to finish some pieces. Today I recieved from the kiln the oil lamps, the first two are white.

Dos azules/ Two blue.

Una blanco con negro y una más pequeña redonda/ One black and white and a smaller one.

Los porta mechas también los hice yo pero voy a tener que ajustarlos al tamaño de las tapas de las lámparas.
I made also the wicks holders, but I must adjust them to the size of the lids of the lamps.

Un año ya/ A year now

Ya ha pasado un año desde que mi Mamá nos dejó. No tengo mucho que decir al respecto, un año repleto de recuerdos, como de cuando era niño, de nuestras vacaciones, de alegrias, de penas, cumpleaños, navidades. Un año ya, una pequeña rosa para ella.
It has been a year since my Mom passed away. I have not much to say about it, a year full of memories, as a child, from our holidays , times of joy, sorrow, birthdays, christmas. A year now, a small rose for her.

Feliz cumpleaños/ Happy birthday

Ayer mi mamá habría cumplido 84 años, feliz cumpleaños mami.

Yesterday my mother should had turn 84, happy birthday mom.

Nuevo taller/ New workshop

Finalmente lo principal está listo en la casa nueva. Lo último que me faltaba era un taller para ingenieria modelo, autos, barcos, locomotoras, etc. Ahora de a poco hay que ir perfeccionando todo, pero ya no tengo disculpa para no empezar un nuevo proyecto.
Finally the main things are ready at the new place. The last thing I needed was a workshop for model engineer, cars, boats, locomotives, etc.. Now all must slowly being perfecting, but I have no excuse for not starting a new project.

No mucho que decir o mostrar hoy, unos 14 potes retorneados para dedicarme el resto del año a probar y formular esmaltes.

Not too much to say or to show, just 14 pots trimmed to use them to try and test glazes the rest of the year.
