Hoy me dediqué a recorrer caminos alrededor de Liray,cerca de Santiago buscando alguna imagen previa a nuestro dia de independencia. La primera imagen es este pequeño restaurant con su bandera preparado pra recibir los primeros parroquianos esta noche.Today I went to Liray, near Santiago, searching for some images on the previous day to our independence day. The first image is this small restaurant with its flag waiting the first costumers tonight.
La segunda imagen es este callejón que conduce a la entrada de el fundo Liray que da nombre a esta zona. Ya quedan pocas imagenes como esta en las cercanias de Santiago. Estas grandes vasijas de greda eran usadas para guardar chicha de uva, un vino dulce tradicional de Chile.The second image is this alley that leads to the entrance of the ranch Liray which gives the name to this area. There still are a few of images like this in the proximities of Santiago. These large clay containers were used to keep chicha, a traditional sweet wine of Chile.
En el mismo callejón la foto de Don Segundo Jara quién se acercó a mi y me contó que el fué trabajador de este fundo y ahora vive en una casita al frente.In the same alley the photo of Don Segundo Jara, who approached to tell me that he was a worker at this ranch and now and lives in a small house nearby.
