Just to break this lack of photos here are some of Maipo river from the south bank.
El lado sur es menos transitado, por lo tanto bastante más tranquilo y silvestre aunque más seco ya que le llega más sol.
The south bank is less traveled, so much more quiet and wild, though drier because it receives more sun.

This is a hidden bend with rapids, white waters as they say, although the river is brown by the silt it carries. Just at this point it joins the Colorado River.

Water runs about 10 feet below but these rocks show signs of erosion, perhaps thousands of years ago.
And of course human intervention carries these unpleasant changes.
