La imagen de hoy son las manos de mi profesor de cerámica, Francisco Olivares, torneando una pieza que nos enseña a facetear. Como siempre en un abrir de ojos centra la pasta y levanta un cilindro antes de poder siquiera atinar a preguntar algo. Para quienes hayan visto tornear cerámica se ve muy fácil, casi mágico y no se imaginan la fuerza que están haciendo las manos sobre la pasta, ahora ya lo se, pero no le quita la magia a la creación. La foto en si no me deja contento, aún se puede afinar más para aislar lo que ocurre y acentuar las acciones.
Today’s image is my teacher’s hands, Francisco Olivares, turning clay as he teaches us how to form faces on the side of piece.
