Primera lluvia/ First rain.

Hace tiempo esperaba este momento: La primera lluvia en la casa nueva, las ventanas abiertas aunque entre frío pero ver la lluvia caer, música, en este caso Vangelis y estar sentado en paz un momento..... .... Así y todo aún no tengo el tiempo para recomenzar la fotografía, falta menos si...
Long time waiting for this moment: The first rain at the new house, the windows opened no matter if the cold gets in, but seeing the rain fall, music, Vangelis, in this case and sitting alone for a moment, enjoing it..... .... Yet, I still have not got the time to restart photography but it will come...

Primer amanecer/ First dawn

Finalmente mi primer amanecer en la casa nueva. No grandes fotos hoy solo la anécdota, mucho frío para hacer buenas fotos, un jardín helado y mucho trabajo por hacer para poder empezar a crear nuevamente.
Finally my first sunrise at the new house. No big pictures today just the anecdote, too cold to make good photos, an iced garden and too work to do to start creating again.

Hoy 21 de Junio es una fecha muy importante para mi. Hoy es la noche más larga acá en el hemisferio sur, marca el inicio del invierno, pero a partir de hoy las noches se comienzan a acortar, el sol comienza su camino de retorno. Pasando esta fecha pienso que ya el calor está a la vuelta de la esquina.Siempre he pensado que pasando esta fecha ya lo hice por un año más. No en vano esta fecha era tan importante para las civilizaciones antiguas. Para ilustrar esta fecha estoy publicando esta foto de la luna que tomé hace cuatro días atrás.
Today, June 21, is a very important date for me. Today is the longest night here in the Southern Hemisphere, it marks the beginning of winter, from today the nights begin to shorten, the sun begins its return path. I think, passing this day, that warm days are just around the corner. I always think that going througth this day I made it for another year. Not surprisingly this date was so important to ancient civilizations. To illustrate this date I am posting this picture of the moon I took four days ago.

Así es como la casa nueva se ve en invierno, se ve, y lo que es más importante, se siente bien.

Hace solo cinco minutos atrás, foto fresca fresca, recién sacada de la lata. Oscuro, ventoso y lluvioso día de invierno. Más tarde más.

Jueves de cerámica, tetera/ Pottery thursday, two pots, teapot.

Hoy terminé de modelar esta tetera que ya había comentado en una entrada anterior: Tetera erizo
Today I finished modeling this teapot which was already mentioned in a previous post: Sea Urchin Teapot

Ahora esperar que seque para bizcochar y esmaltar.
Now wait for it to dry to bisque and glaze.

Tonos grises / Gray shades

Solo unas tomas de tonalidades grises para poner la cámara a funcionar nuevamente, sin más comentarios, espero luego tener tiempo para reiniciar el trabajo creativo y poder salir a tomar fotos nuevamente. Es agradable publicar fotos sin comentar mucho, cuesta pensar en que escribir y a veces cuesta más aún traducir todo.
Just some shots of gray shades, just to put the camera working again, no further comments, soon I hope to have time to restart creative work and go out to shoot photos again. It's nice to post photos without comments, it is hard to think what to write and sometimes even harder to translate everything.

Jueves de cerámica, ollas/ Pottery thursday, two pots.

Hoy terminé de retornear estas dos ollas, inicialmente eran dos fuentes pero al agregarle asas quedaron como ollas así que les agregué tapas.
Today I finished these two pots. Initially they started as two bowls but when a put handles they looks like pots so I added lids for them.

La segunda es un poco más grande pero el mismo diseño. Ahora espera que sequén para bizcochar.
The second is a bit bigger but the same design. Now I'm waiting to let them dry and then fire to biscuit.
