Estudio de foto al fin/ Photo studio again

Ya logré terminar de instalar mi pequeño estudio fotográfico en la casa nueva, así que quedan menos cosas por hacer.
I just finished installing my small photo studio in the new house, so, slowly, there are less things to install.

Solo tomé esta foto de esta pequeña figura que hice el año pasado, desgraciadamente no quedó bien esmaltada, tiene solo 12 cm. de altura.
Just took this picture of this small figure I did last year, sadly it is not well glazed, it is only 12 cm. high.

Jueves de cerámica/ Pottery thursday

En clases de cerámica hoy solo torneé una pieza probando medios cortes para luego empujar la pieza desde adentro hacia afuera creando estas estrías. El resto de la mañana lo dediqué a esmaltar un plato en dos tonos que espero esté quemado para la próxima clase.
Today in pottery classes I threw only one piece with half cuts to push then the clay inside out creating these grooves. The rest of the morning was dedicated to glaze a plate in two colors that I hope it will be fired for the next class.

Taller de cerámica/ Pottery workshop

Finalmente logré armar mi taller de cerámica en la casa nueva. Es un taller provisorio hasta construir un taller afuera. En todo caso quedó bastante cómodo para empezar.
I finally managed to set a pottery workshop in the new house. It is a temporary workshop untill build a workshop shed outside. In any case it is comfortable enough to start.

Y también hay espacio para el torno de cerámica que compré así que ya puedo tornear acá.

Esta es la primera pieza hecha en el torno, una fuente. En todo caso esta y muchas de las que voy a tornear acá serán recicladas para practicar.

Día gris, fotos grises/ Gray day, gray photos.

Ya habia olvidado que ha veces es tan simple como solo tomar la cámara, encuadrar y disparar. Algunas semillas, ramas, la corteza de un arbol y una gran gama de grises.
I had already forgotten that sometimes it is as simple as just taking the camera, frame and shoot. Some seeds, twigs, the bark of a tree and a wide range of grays.

En el jardín quedaron unos juguetes olvidados, pero en una visión más poética prefiero pensar que son las sobras de la merienda de Alicia en el país de las maravillas, no en vano estoy al otro lado del espejo.
In the garden there are some forgotten toys, but in a more poetic point of veiw I rather think that they are leftovers from Alice in Wonderland tea party, not in vain I'm at the other side of the looking glass.

Jueves de cerámica / Pottery Thursday

Sigo muy ocupado con los arreglos de la casa nueva así que aún no he retomado la fotografía lo que tiene el blog sin movimiento.
Por lo menos hoy recordé llevar la cámara a clases de cerámica y tomar estas fotos. La primera un plato de unos 36 cm. de díametro con una espiral en el interior hecho en el torno.

La segunda pieza es esta fuente ovalada hecha con rollos de pasta, técnica mucho más lenta pero útil para piezas no redondas y trabajar sin torno.
