Finalmente, despues de casi tres años, con uno de receso, tengo mi locomotora Dacre andando con su propio vapor. Aún queda mucho por hacer pero por fin puedo sentarme a ver como camina.
Finally, after almost three years, with one year break, I got my Dacre locomotive running on its own steam. There is still too much to do but for a while I can sit and watch it running.
Ahora falta terminar los estanques laterales, la cabina y muchos otros detalles.
Now I need to work and the cab, side tanks and more details.
Prácticamente todo esta hecho desde el principio excepto por el manómetro y la valvula de entrada del gas.
Virtually everything is done from scratch except for the pressure gauge and the gas filler valve.
Los pistones ya muestran señal de uso manchados con el aceite de lubricación. Los tornillos de 2 milimetros son hechos de bronce.
The pistons are already showing signs of wear stained with lubrication oil. 2 mm bolts are made of brass.
